Each Bidder shall also have no less than seven (7) years experience in the magnitude and character of the work bid. WAGES: The Director of the Department of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this public work is to be performed for each craft, classification, or type of worker needed to execute the contract. Wage rates can be found at the California Department of Industrial Relations web site electronically Each bid shall be submitted on the bid form provided in the bid documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, or certified check, or cashiers check in favor of POWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, or cash, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Said Bid Bond shall be given to guarantee that the Bidder will execute the contract as specified, within five (5) working days after the notification of the award of the contract to the Bidder. Payment and Performance Bonds shall be required. The Contractor shall be permitted to substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under this contract, such substitution to be subject to the limitations and requirements of Public Contract Code Section 22300. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
