The Central Falls Housing Authority, Central Falls, Rhode Island, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for completing common area Toilet Room Upgrades at Wilfrid Manor, RI 4-1, Forand Manor, RI 4-2 and Forand Manor Annex, RI 4-4; in accordance with the documents prepared by William Starck Architects, Inc. The work generally includes, but is not limited to the following: (Refer to Section 01100, Summary of the Work for additional information) Replacement of suspended acoustical tile ceilings and lighting, new floor and wall finishes, new automatic hand dryers, toilet room accessories and replacement of plumbing fixtures. There is a total of six (6) toilet rooms, in the scope, at the following locations: Single-user Men's Toilet Room, Ground Floor of Wilfrid ManorSingle-user Women's Toilet Room, Ground Floor of Wilfrid ManorSingle-user Men's Toilet Room, Ground Floor of Forand ManorSingle-user Women's Toilet Room, Ground Floor of Forand ManorSingle-user Unisex/Family Toilet Room, Ground Floor of Forand Manor AnnexSingle-user Staff Toilet Room, Ground Floor of Forand Manor Annex Bids are subject to Equal Employment Opportunities, bonding requirements and other bidding and contract requirements as set forth in the construction documents Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount and made payable to the Central Falls Housing Authority. The last day for questions will be 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Bids are subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor. The Central Falls Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding if it be in the public interest to do so. Otherwise, the deposit shall become the property of the Central Falls Housing Authority. Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for thirty-five dollars ($35.00) per set, payable to William Starck Architects, Inc., to cover mailing and handling costs.
