**As of August 15, 2022, bids were rejected, no information for rebid.** 13th Avenue Stormwater Improvements and Signal Upgrades Between 12th Street and 13th Street Work performed on this project to be as per current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Publication 408, as amended and revised. Either an original Certified Check, Official Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the "City of Altoona" equal to ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal. Note that the Bid Bond must be in effect for a period of sixty (60) days from the bid opening date. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 6/22/2022 12:00 PM Mayor and City Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality not material to the bid and to award the contract as may be deemed to the best interest of the City of Altoona. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Work performed on this project will be subject to prevailing wage rates as established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Contractors or sub-contractors interested in submitting a proposal for this project must be currently pre-qualified with the Department of Transportation's ECMS system that allows them to perform new construction of traffic signals and related structures. . The entire contract must be complete by June 16, 2023.
