The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is responsible for the management of the Fountain Square office complex in Franklin County. The complex consists of 10 Buildings (A - J) with approximately 259,000 Sq. Ft. providing offices for the multiple divisions within ODNR. The facility complex has served in this manner for several decades and is now in need of renovations. The intent of this project is to focus on Buildings F, G and H (approximately 77,700 Sq. Ft.) HVAC Rooftop Units Replacement: Design for replacement of the existing rooftop units should focus on serviceability, efficiency and energy reduction opportunities of the system, current building programmatic uses and new available technologies. Ease of maintenance and long-term operating costs must be a part of the evaluation and the selection of replacement units and system. Successful alternatives for HVAC Rooftop Unit replacement shall be considered and combability with the recently replaced VFD's needs to be identified. Building mechanical systems are aging and have deteriorated and require replacement and upgrade to meet current needs. This project is intended to replace and upgrade the HVAC system, air handlers and controls for buildings F, G and H. The related boiler, cooling tower and chiller have recently been replaced serving the three buildings.
