Project consists of the rehabilitation of an existing lift station, installation of new pumps and controls, proposed control panel and canopy, connection to existing waterline and waterline service extension, installation of access drive, installation of fencing, and related appurtenances as shown on the Plans and required by the Specifications in San Benito, Texas. The OWNER intends to award this contract to the lowest qualified Bidder, based upon the OWNER's available budget for this project. The Owner will select either the Base Bid or combination of Bids depending on the lowest qualified proposal and the Owner's Budget. If the lowest qualified Bidder's proposal exceeds the available budget, the OWNER may reject all Bids. No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder. Bidder must agree also to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500.00 for each consecutive working day thereafter Each Bidder must inform himself fully of the conditions relating to the construction of the project and the employment of labor thereon. Failure to do so will not relieve a successful Bidder of his obligation to furnish all material and labor necessary to carry out the provisions of this contract.
