Whiskey Creek Culvert and Channel Improvements in the Whiskey Creek floodplain from the outlet at Kempenfelt Bay to just upstream of The Boulevard to Brennan Avenue . Key considerations of the assessment include impacts to property, existing infrastructure, emergency access, transportation routes, and natural heritage. The existing washroom/generator building must be relocated, to remove it from erosion hazard associated with Whiskey creek and to reduce the frequency of the building floods. A replacement of the washroom/generator building is planned in the short-term. TIMELINE: Designs are ongoing. Utility relocation is taking place in 2026. Tender will be issued in 2027. Anticipated construction - 2027/2028. *Construction cost is unreleased for publication.
