Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and 346,800-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility.

1.01 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS A. Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District at 836 Newmans Lane for the following contract: Re-Bid Corridor/Storage Room Renovations at Bridgewater Raritan Regional High School. 1. Bids will be received by the Owner until 11:30am on June-10-2022 and will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. B. Sealed bids will be received for the following contract: 1. Overall Single Prime (all of the work) C. One (1) Original and (1) copy of the Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Mr. Peter Starrs, Business Administrator and shall be identified on the outside of the package (outside of mailing package if mailed) with the following: Bid for Re-Bid Corridor/Storage Room Renovations at Crim Primary School. D. Bid Documents will be available from the Architect after 2:00pm on May-27-2022. Bid Documents may be examined and purchased through the website of Solutions Architecture, www.solutions-arch.com, located in the BidBox Tab. Bidders must purchase bidding documents for the non-refundable fee of $100.00 for one (1) paper set or $50.00 for Electronic Copies (PDF's). If contract documents are to be mailed or Fedex'd an additional charge of $25.00 will be required, and the bidder must provide their FedEx Account #. Bidders may purchase documents through the site using any major credit card or Paypal. 1. Questions regarding bidding should be directed to the Architect's office. Re-Bid - Bidders who have previously purchased documents for this project will be offered the revised documents at no additional cost. Please contact Solutions Architecture to get the revised documents. F. The Architect and Owner will allow bidders to inspect the site conditions on an as needed basis. Please contact Solutions Architecture to schedule a walk-thru. All technical questions, comments, and inquiries should be directed to Solutions Architecture; the last day for questions is June 1, 2022. G. Bids shall be made on the Forms of Proposal provided and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. H. Each bidder shall submit with its bid, a Certificate of Consent of Surety as per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25 from a Surety company stating that it will provide the bidder and all subcontractors, if successful, with a performance/payment bond in the full amount of the contract. I. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. N.J.S.A. 18A:-18A-36(a). J. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so and to award contracts only to those whose proposal is deemed by the Owner to be most advantageous to the interest of the public. K. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contracts pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. L. Pursuant to the "Public Works Contractor Registration Act" (P.L. 1999, c.238), bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. M. Bidders must comply with the requirements of "The Law Against Discrimination," set forth at N.J.S.A. 10:2-1, et seq., and Affirmative Action, set forth at N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et seq. N. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-6.3(a) (4), bidders must submit an executed C.271 political contribution disclosure form in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.26. O. Bidders and subcontractors identified in the bid must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, and possess a Business Registration Certificate. P. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, all bidders shall pre-qualify as required by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, and each bid shall be accompanied by an affidavit so certifying pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18-32. All inquiries concerning prequalification should be directed to Division of Property Management and Construction, Taxation Building, 8th Floor, West State and Willow Streets, Trenton, New Jersey 08625. Q. Bidders shall be prequalified in Categories: 1. C008 OR C009 AND C047. R. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. concerning Public School Contracts Law.
