**As of September 30, 2022, Schedule A was awarded to Schwartz Excavating, Inc, awarded amount is $1,494,949.87; Schedule B was awarded to Astro Turf Corporation, awarded amount is $712, 785.00; Schedule C was rejected; Schecule D was awarded to Edward Electric awarded amount is $106,500.00; and Schedule E was awarded to Musco Sports Lighting, LLC awarded amount is $299,200.00.** The proposal shall include a bid bond for 5% of the total bid in accordance with IDOT standards (or equal) to insure that the contractor will be able to provide a performance bond to guarantee completion of the awarded contract. Bids received from contractors that were not recommended as qualified by the design engineer will not be opened and will be returned to the bidder. The project includes the construction of a 115,000 sq ft synthetic multi-use athletic field, lighting, 80 car parking lot, and 8' wide bituminous concrete pedestrian path. Only contractors with a current IDOT Certificate of Eligibility for this type of work OR contractors that can demonstrate that they have successfully completed similar projects, project owner references, and equipment resources to complete this project will be recommended for this work. There will be no charge for the digital copies. This project is being funded entirely with non-MFT funds. The Village of Orland Hills reserves the right to adjust the project scope prior to the award if is determined to be in the best interest of the village and acceptable to the contractor. The village also reserves the right to adjust quantities as recommended by the design engineer as work progresses. The contractor shall be required to comply with all Federal, State of Illinois, Cook County, and Village of Orland Hills applicable laws, acts, disclosures, certifications, and prevailing wages.
