Separate sealed Proposals for the outsourcing of backflow prevention assembly installation, repair and testing. The Proposals shall include unit pricing for the installation, repairing and testing of the various unit items. The contractor will provide all materials for installation, repair and testing. The contractor shall provide test reports to the District. The accepted contractor(s) shall agree to sign the attached agreement when work is awarded. The contractor shall certify compliance with the S.C. Illegal Immigration Reform Act by signing the attached Addendum and including it with the Proposals. Approved contractors shall submit certificates of insurance to the District. NO BID BOND is required for this Proposal. The prices submitted will be for (2) two years from date of award. The District will not award the contract to one single contractor. Instead the District will include the selected contractors on the District's approved Contractor list. At such time that work becomes available individual contracts will be awarded to the contractor that has: the qualifications to perform the specific work; the lowest unit item cost overall for the specific project based on the sum total of all unit pricing provided in the Proposals; has the ability to perform the work within the time limits established for the specific project. Once a project becomes available the District will notify the qualified contractor with the lowest cost based on the unit pricing from the proposal and give them 3 days to look at the project and either except it or reject it. If the project is rejected the District will notify the next lowest cost, qualified contractor and so on until the project is accepted. The District shall have the right to divide up large quantities of work to meet state deadlines. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals.
