Renovation of an educational facility in Madisonville, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Kentucky Justice & Public Safety Cabinet (JPSC), Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT). These services are to conduct a comprehensive site and feasibility study for a law enforcement training facility in Madisonville,Kentucky as authorized in 22RS HB1, JPSC DOCJT. These services shall include a draft report to be provided to JPSC DOCJT no later than September 9, 2022, and a final revised report due to JSPC DOCJT no later than September 23, 2022. The report will ultimately be provided to the Interim Joint Committee on Appropriations and Revenue. The consultant will work with JSPC and DOCJT throughout the term of the contract to develop the scope of the study and collect information on DOCJT needs and requirements. DECA reserves the option to increase design services relative to additional future funding. Short List Meeting: June 7, 2022. 10:00 AM, ET Virtual Meeting Interviews (subject to change): June 14, 2022. 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM Virtual Meeting If three or fewer firms submit responses to this RFP, all firms will be interviewed. The Interviews may be moved to the date set for the shortlist meeting The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
