Work Included:
1. Mill approximately 22,000 square feet of existing 6" asphalt and removal.
2. Scarification and recompaction of 6" of existing subgrade for approximately 22,00 square feet.
3. Contractor shall be responsible for SWPP and Dust Control Plans.
4. Contractor shall ensure the new conditions allow for site drainage and is responsible for maintaining grades during construction.
5. Placement of a new 4000 PSI, 6" thick Portland Cement Concrete section over 4" Class II aggregate base.
6. Construct edge concrete curb
7. Construct/Clean soil V-Ditch The Prime Bidder must provide a security deposit in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the bid; security deposit to be in the form of a bidder's bond. For all contracts exceeding $10,000, Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond on a standard bond company form, in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. For all contracts exceeding $25,000, Contractor shall furnish a Payment Bond on form STD. 807 in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Anticipated Contract Execution Date 08/15/2022 Written Question and Answer Period Potential Bidders who attended the mandatory pre-bid meeting may submit written questions regarding the bid by 2:00 p.m. on June 16, 2022. All questions should be emailed in writing to Sarah.Best@fire.ca.gov and CAL FIRE will provide answers to questions by written response on June 17, 2022. NO QUESTIONS will be entertained after June 16, 2022. A bid may be rejected if it is conditional or incomplete, or if it contains any alterations of form or other irregularities of any kind. The State may reject any or all bids and may waive an immaterial deviation in a bid. The State's waiver of immaterial deviation shall in no way modify the IFB document or excuse the bidder from full compliance with all requirements if awarded the agreement.
