Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Piermont, New York. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of July 11, 2022, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The Village of Piermont Parks Department requests proposals from qualified firms to provide planting of select plant materials on the North and South sides of the Piermont Pier between the Scheffold Memorial and the end of the Pier in Piermont, NY, as specified by the Piermont Parks Commission. The requested work entails the preparation of the planting site, the planting of fifty (50) trees, one hundred and thirty-six (136) shrubs and eight hundred and twenty (820) perennials and maintaining the planting site for one (1) year and guaranteeing the health and vibrancy of the trees for one year. Qualified contractors must have a working knowledge of tree care. Contractors will provide all equipment, labor, tools, materials and services specified. The contractor shall also be responsible to dispose of all related debris.
