The Town of Littleton through the Select Board Office, hereinafter called the "Awarding Authority", or "Town" is requesting sealed bids for: Pavement Preservation Work to be performed as necessary under the direction of the Awarding Authority personnel at selected sites throughout the Town of Littleton. The scope of work consists of supplying and placing approximately 3,000 gallons of crack sealing and 26,000 sqyds of Cape-Seal to be performed as necessary under the direction of the Town personnel at selected sites throughout the Town of Littleton Town as liquidated damages the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per day for each and every day thereafter that it fails to deliver such work completed according to the requirements of the Contract. Contractor Pre-Qualification from MassDOT is required Bid Security from the Contractor in the form of cash, certified check, treasurer's check, or cashier's check, drawn upon a responsible bank in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be made payable to the Town of Littleton, Massachusetts and shall be enclosed with the bid. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond in the full amount of the contract, will be required of the successful bidder The Town of Littleton reserves the right the reject any or all bids wholly or in part, and accept any bid or part thereof in the Town's best interest.
