The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting proposals to mill and repave selected areas at the Kent County Correctional Facility located on Exhibit A. Project consists of removal of pavement, installation of aggregate base as needed, compaction of base, fine grading, installation of new HMA pavement, and new pavement striping as needed. Inquiries Deadline Date & Time (local) 5/24/2022, 2 PM Each bid over $500,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond executed by the Respondent and payable to County of Kent for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds or Payment Bonds and Performance Bonds must file a certified effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. A certified check, bank draft, cashier's check, or negotiable U.S. Government bond (at par value) may be submitted In lieu of a Bid Bond. Personal checks are NOT acceptable.
