You are invited to submit sealed bids on providing labor and material for the removal and replacement of carpet and tile at various schools in the district. There is approximately 70,000 sf of glue down carpet to be removed and replaced with new VCT . There is approximately 2,600 sf of ceramic tile to be removed and replaced with new porcelain tile. It is the intent of the Magnolia School District to enter into agreement to replace the flooring during the summer of 2022. The Director of Support Services will help in all site visits. Failure to visit the school prior to sending a proposal will not relieve the contractor of any obligation to confirm their ability to perform the work indicated in the scope of work. The contract will be awarded to the qualified proposer whose proposal is most advantageous to the School District. The School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, or part of any and all proposals, and to waive any informality in the bidding process. General Conditions and Scope of Services 1. Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of existing carpet and tile 2. Bid price to include installation 3. Contractor is responsible for keeping all work areas clean and dust free 4. Vinyl cove base installed as needed 5. A certificate of Insurance must be filled with the school district by the successful contractor 6. All work must be completed no later than Friday August 5, 2022
