1. Background/Introduction Hocking College is seeking replacement of existing video security system with a more reliable system. Cameras will be installed at multiple locations. 2. Project Goals and Scope of Services: Replace security camera system at Rhapsody Restaurant with system with ability to monitor and record the interior and exterior of establishment. The College monitors the surveillance cameras from a different location on campus. Surveillance from each camera will need to be available at a minimum for the previous 7 days. 13 existing cameras should be replaced with attention to coverage of dead spots of current system. Cameras will need to monitor patron areas, entries, exits, beverages, cash register, perimeter, and inventory. Rhapsody is located at 18 Public Square in Nelsonville, Ohio. The existing system and the locations of each camera can be viewed by appointment only. In addition, the adjoining Hocking College International Student Houses will need to be added to the system where coverage does not currently exist. Cameras will need to monitor resident housing, vehicles, entries, exits, parking lots, and the perimeter. The system will be monitored from a different location. Surveillance from each camera will need to be available at a minimum for the previous 7 days. The International Student housing location is at 30 E Columbus St, Nelsonville, Ohio and consists of 2 buildings. Internet connectivity will be provided at both locations by the College. Existing wiring can be used, but additional wiring needs for the cameras and any type of DVR appliance will need to be run by the selected supplier. Selection of RFP Proposal/Notification to Unsuccessful Bidders: May 30, 2022 Hocking College expects this project to begin by July 1, 2022 and be completed by November 1, 2022. Elements of Proposal A submission must, at a minimum, include the following elements: o Description of the firm that includes a general overview and how the firm is qualified to fulfill Hocking College's request for proposal. o Total cost of the project. o Timeline of the project. o Technical specifications of hardware and capabilities. 7. Evaluation Criteria The successful respondent will: o Have been operating continuously for a minimum of 24 months and possess full-service, inhouse capabilities for handling this project. o The education, experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications of the firm and the individuals who will be available to provide these services. o The competitive cost of the services. o The expertise of the firm in working with similar customers.
