All grader blades must meet or exceed the following specifications: Standard Grader Blades shall be "through-hardened" to the following minimums: Rockwell hardness C-Scale: Minimum of 43 (Rc43) Brinell hardness: Minimum of 400 (BR 400) Bolt holes shall be standard sizes and spacing of 0.63" or 0.75" for use in conjunction with No 3 head-cutting edge bolts and use standard "highway" punching with either 6" or 12" spacing Holes shall be spaced very accurately on a straight line and be located within 1/16" of the dimensioned position using both end holes as datum points Supplier shall warrant that if a blade breaks during operation, it will be replaced free of charge The successful bidder must comply with O.S. 19, Chapter 33 (Purchasing Procedures). Bids received late will be returned unopened. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or make an award to other than the low bidder if such an award is deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
