Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Midland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project in Package 1 shall include but not me limited to site demolition, rubblization of site concrete and asphalt construction of new Benson St parking area, stormwater and flood storage basin, riverfront overlook, porous pedestrian pathway, site grading and restoration seeding. The City of Midland is inviting Construction Contractors to submit a written qualification package and construction costs for the site restoration and creation of the public park site from post residential and industrial uses into a revitalized natural park with porous pedestrian pathways, creation of new wetlands with native vegetation, fishing & river observation decks, pavilion, and a 450' long elevated pedestrian walkway across the Tittabawassee River linking the park with E. Main Street on the north bank of the river.
