Site work for a mixed-use development in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.

Bid information should be submitted in a sealed envelope (or email subject line) clearly marked with the following information: SEALED BID - MENOMONIE HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC COMPLEX SITE IMPROVEMENTS Bids shall be emailed, mailed or hand delivered to: School District of the Menomonie Area ATTN: Joseph E. Zydowsky, PhD - District Administrator 215 Pine Avenue E, Menomonie, WI 54751 joe_zydowsky@msd.k12.wi.us If emailing bid, send electronic copies of bond. Do not contact the District with questions or comments; direct all questions and comments to Lindsey Stegall, Point of Beginning Project Manager, by 715.347.2928 or lindseys@pobinc.com. The company awarded the contract will be compensated directly by the School District of the Menomonie Area. Point of Beginning, Inc. will be assisting in the evaluation of proposals for the project. The district is using this process to solicit information, including proposed pricing information and alternative proposals, from interested parties regarding the proposed project. The district may interview interested parties responding to the proposed project to ask questions and to obtain additional information beyond any written submissions. The district reserves the right to modify the project from the original scope identified in the specifications prior to entering into a contract based on budgetary considerations and other feedback provided by interested parties. The district may use the process to negotiate directly with interested contractors to enter into one or more contracts to perform the proposed work. School District of the Menomonie Area will receive bids for the following general scope of work for the Football Field Redevelopment Project. See plans, specifications, bid forms for final scopes of work. CONTRACT "A" - SITE DIVISION 1. Site Preparation a. Install/ Remove Temporary Rock Construction Entrance & Crossing Protection Pad for Track b. Remove/ Replace Existing Fence as Required For Site Access c. Salvage/ Sod Cut Grass Inside of Track Area to be Stockpiled in Location Designated by Owner d. Install/Maintain Erosion Control Measures (Silt Fence, Blankets & Inlet Protection) e. Install Temporary Security Construction Fencing/Gates around Construction Staging Area, As Required f. Lower Existing Storm Inlets, If Required i. Maintain Existing Storm Lines within Field Area 2. Site Demolition a. Sawcutting Asphalt Pavement b.Remove Applicable Irrigation; Terminate/Cap Mainline a. Abandon/Remove Irrigation Electrical Feed c. Existing Goal Posts to be Maintained d. Remove Existing Fence e. Miscellaneous Items Depicted on Plans 3. Site Earthwork a. Stripping & Removal of Topsoil/ Subgrade Material Inside Synthetic Turf Area b. Exporting of Excess Subgrade Material, As Required c. Fine Grading Disturbed Subgrade Areas d. Laser Grading of Synthetic Turf Stone e. Restore General Disturbed Green Areas f. Place Gravel Under Concrete Areas g. Pouring of Concrete Areas (Bleacher Pad, Pathway & Curb Nailer) h. Install Interior Concrete Curb w/ Treated Wood Nailer - Field & Existing Electrical Field Communication Boxes i. Place Turf Drainage Stone w/ Separation Fabric j. Stockpiling of Excess Topsoil on Site Protected by Silt Fence; Seed Pile with Low Maintenance Mix 4. Utility Installation a. Install of Flat Panel/Storm sewer Underdrain Piping & Storm Manhole b. Install of Bleacher Trench Drain 5. Electrical a. Conduit/Wiring of Pre-Fabricated Press Box - Electrical & Communications b. Conduit/Wiring to Existing Stadium Light Poles in Support of Public Announcement System - Electrical & Communications i. Furnish & Install Speaker Brackets & Speakers c. Furnish and Install Public Announcement System in Press Box d. Relocation of Telephone Utilities Under Bleacher e. Demolition of Electrical Pedestal Under Bleach and Extension of Conduits f. Existing Electrical Field Communication Boxes to be Maintained g. Miscellaneous Items Depicted on Plans 6. Landscaping a. Seeding, Fertilizing & Mulching of Disturbed Green Areas b. Fine Grading of all Disturbed Green Areas 7. Miscellaneous b. As Required Permits for Construction (Erosion Control, Building & Miscellaneous Municipality Permits) i. POB to coordinate NOI & DSPS permits. c. Furnish / Install Athletic Field Equipment (Turf Metal Access Frame Base/Pitcher Plate/Home Plate Boxes) d. Front End Requirements (Bonds) e. All/Any Other Miscellaneous Items Depicted on Plans CONTRACT "B" - SYNTHETIC TURF DIVISION 1. N/A - Separate Request for Proposal. CONTRACT "C" - BLEACHERS /PRESS BOX DIVISION 1. N/A - Separate Request for Proposal. Tentative Work for the complex will commence on June 1st, 2022 and shall be substantially completed by September 1st, 2022. Work to be coordinated with the School District of the Menomonie Area to minimize disruption. a. If the above dates are not favorable, the District is open to alternate suggestions. Contractor to proposed contractor preferred ground breaking and substantially completion dates. Point of Beginning, Inc is responsible for distribution of addenda to only those that have requested project documents from Point of Beginning in formats described above. BID SECURITY in the amount of (5) five percent of the maximum amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid as described in the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all Bids. No Bid may be withdrawn until 60 days after the time stated for receipt of Bids
