This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks a qualified consultant to provide preliminary engineering and final construction documents for the FY 22-23 Annual Pavement Rehabilitation Project. This pavement project consists of five street segments and various neighborhood streets within the city limits. The design shall conform to all current, city, state, and federal design standards for roadways. The project consists of evaluation of current road conditions, recommendations for rehabilitation, and final plans, specifications, construction estimates for construction of the project and as-needed construction support. A project location map can be found in Appendix C for reference. The five main street segments include: o Greenleaf Avenue from Lambert Road to Mulberry Drive o Painter Avenue from Whittier Boulevard to south city limit o Calmada Avenue from Whittier Boulevard to south city limit o Mills Avenue from Whittier Boulevard to Lambert Road o La Serna Drive from Youngwood Drive to Whittier Boulevard. The City of Whittier invites qualified engineering consultants to submit a proposal for engineering design services for the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates and related construction documents for FY 22-23 Annual Pavement Rehabilitation Project. Any questions related to this RFP shall be submitted in writing to the City of Whittier Public Works Department on the request for clarifications deadline of June 6, 2022.
