Demolition and site work for a medical facility in Indio, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a medical facility.
Work shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following: o Demolition and disposal of existing flooring as shown on Drawing Sheet A1.0 o Removal and reinstallation of office furniture in project site locations o Remove plumbing fixtures, stall partitions, etc. to facilitate the removal of flooring. o Remove vinyl composite tile (VCT). o Remove all wood flooring to the transition strip at the doorway. o Install 2x bracing, as required, to support new plywood floor. o Remove and replace insulation and vapor barrier as needed. This item will be indicated in the o pricing section as a per square foot cost. The total cost will be determined after the floor has o been removed. o Install new plywood floor to match thickness of existing floor. o Install new VCT tile to match grade, thickness, color, and quality of existing VCT. o Install new vinyl cove base to match grade, thickness, color, and quality of existing vinyl cove o base. o Reset existing plumbing fixtures, stall partitions, etc. o Strip and wax the new VCT flooring. A minimum of 4 coats of wax should be applied to o provide a high lustrous shine
