To provide asbestos and mold air clearance for abatement projects in Kanawha County Schools. Initial Contract Term: This Contract becomes effective on date of award and extends for a period of one (1) year. BID BOND: All Vendors shall furnish a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid protecting the County. The bid bond must be submitted with the bid. PERFORMANCE BOND: The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract value. The performance bond must be issued and received by the Purchasing Department prior to Contract award. On construction contracts, the performance bond must be 100% of the Contract value. LABOR/MATERIAL PAYMENT BOND: The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a labor/material payment bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract value. The labor/material payment bond must be issued and delivered to the Purchasing Department prior to Contract award. Question Submission Deadline: August 17, 2022 @ 3:00pm ACCEPTANCE/REJECTION: The County may accept or reject any bid in whole, or in part. Vendor's signature on its bid signifies acceptance of the terms and conditions contained in the Solicitation and Vendor agrees to be bound by the terms of the Contract, as reflected in the Purchase Order, upon receipt.
