Renovation of an educational facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16-story above grade educational facility.

In general, the work consists of the renovation of Sandburg Residence Hall West Tower. West Tower is 40 16 stories of student residences, 2 stories of campus police, and 1 story of mechanical / storage (campus 41 police and students share 1 story) and 2-stories of mechanical and elevator penthouses. West Tower 42 floor plan footprint is approximately 6,100 GSF with each penthouse an additional 1,100 GSF for a 43 total GSF of 112,000. The renovation work entails bathroom renovation work including fixture and 44 finishes replacement, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire suppression, and limited fire alarm system 45 replacement. Work outside of the bathrooms includes air distribution system replacement, life safety 46 enhancements, and elevator renovation including added stops on student occupied floors. The work 47 will occur in phases. Phase 1 will include floors 2-16, elevators, Lower Parking level, and the 48 penthouses. Phase 2 will add the Upper Parking level and Floor 1 after they are vacated by the 49 University Police Department after the academic year. BID OPENING for MEP BIDDERS: 2:00 P.M., April 5, 2022 Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted MBE (29%), WBE (10%)
