Payson City is soliciting Letters of Interest (LOI) from experienced alternative contracting teams (CM/GC) interested in submitting qualifications and if short listed entering a contract for CM/GC of the improvements for Main Street from 100 North to 700 South. The project includes construction of a new sewer main, waterline, as well as the reconstruction of Main Street curb, gutter and asphalt. Work will include the site improvements through historic main street blocks working around historic buildings. The most qualified team will be selected in a single step procurement process to enter into a CM/GC with the city. The contract will include early collaboration, with the designer to establish early long lead orders, construction estimates, and early work packages. All interested candidates should submit an LOI addressing the following: Potential project team organization with lead contractor and design team members. Include information on any additional exclusive team members as desired. Short explanation of experience as it relates to utilities, road improvements and construction activities around historic buildings. A CM/GC contract will be awarded using a single step selection process to evaluate the ability of the proposers to manage, build and control this project to provide a quality product, on or ahead of schedule.
