Renovation of an educational facility in Fairfield, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Town of Fairfield (Town) on behalf of the Fairfield Public Schools (FPS), is seeking proposals from licensed engineers to provide design services for the replacement of two (2) boilers at the Burr Elementary School, 1960 Burr Street, Fairfield, CT. The Burr Elementary School was constructed in year 2004. The existing boilers were installed in 2004 and are located on the second floor of the school building. The existing boilers have started to shown signs of failing, including but not limited to leakage into the gym storage area located below the boiler room. The Town recognizes that this project has a tight timetable and is looking for Firms that can see this project through to completion before the mandatory heating season of October 15th, 2022.
