The Work under this contract includes the installation of new streetlights to infill missing infrastructure in developed areas throughout the City. The type of installations include new arms and fixtures on existing Portland General Electric (PGE) wood poles, on new wood poles, and on new fiberglass poles. The work includes the installation of conduit, junction boxes, wiring, coordination with PGE, and other appurtenant work. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. AWARD: The City of Salem ("City") reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty (30) days.
