Project No -22-5558.00 The project consists of removing and replacing 972 feet of sanitary sewer main and appurtenances. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Willistown Township or a Bid Bond in favor of Willistown Township in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act' Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor must be paid to workers employed on this project. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the bid opening date. The Willistown Township reserves the right to reject all bids and waive any bidding informalities. 1. Replace approximately 972 LF of existing sewer with ductile iron pipe and SDR-35 PVC sanitary sewer, as indicated on the Drawings. 2. Replace existing laterals within the right-of-way and connect existing building sewers to the new sanitary sewer piping. Laterals connecting to DIP will be replaced with C-900 PVC. Laterals connecting to SDR-35 PVC will be replaced with SDR-35 PVC. 3. Maintain sewer service through use of bypass pumping and temporary connections as required. 4.
