Demolition, site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Lake Elsinore, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The existing Regional Water Reclamation Facility (RWRF) is an extended aeration, California Title 22 wastewater treatment facility designed for nitrification/denitrification and phosphorus removal. The current plant capacity is 8.0 million gallons per day (mgd), annual average flow, and can support 17.6 mgd during peak wet weather flow events. The RWRF consists of two liquid treatment trains (designated as Train A & Train B) with combined solids dewatering. The expansion will include the expansion of the existing influent pump station to 30 mgd capacity. All contractors bidding on the Project must be prequalified prior to submitting a bid. Construction is slated to begin August 21, 2023.
