Lone Tree Creek Lift Station Sanitary Sewer by-pass and Rehabilitation Project . The City Shall Evaluate the Proposals on the Basis of All Factors Described Herein. The City Reserves the Right to Refuse and Reject Any or All Proposals. Isolate of all sanitary sewer flow to the Lone Tree Creek Lift Station located at 6600 US Hwy 59N by redirecting approximately 6.43 MGD of sanitary sewer around the Lone Tree Creek Lift Station using a by-pass pumping system. The by-pass system shall be comprised of two (2) diesel driven pumps, each capable of pumping 6.43 MGD and system must have remote/auto start/auto stop ability. One pump must be in operation at all timesand one pump in stand-by/available in times of high sanitary sewer flows (ie during times of high Infiltration and Inflow in the sewer system). System shall need approximately 1350 LF of HDPE by-pass pipe (size based on contractor's calculations) from manhole at lift station to first manhole downstream. Joints for the pipe shall be water-tight and no leaks allowed. Provide and install two 36" plugs, one in the pumping manhole at lift station and one at the downstream manhole. Each manhole has a 30" lid and frame. Each manhole opening to be protected from rainwater intrusion during operations. Provide concrete traffic barriers and a crash cushion to close the shoulder on US Hwy 59 N frontage road where the by-pass piping is placed in shoulder of bridge where it crosses Lone Tree Creek. Provide all necessary traffic control signage for shoulder closure in accordance with MUTCD All other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project
