The Clarke County Purchasing Office is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide propane delivery for the Clarke County Government, Clarke County Public Schools, and Clarke County Sanitary Authority as specified in this Invitation for Bids. All questions should be done in writing via email (purchasing@clarkecounty.gov) to Mr. Mike Legge, Purchasing Manager. Please put "Question: IFB #22-0607" in the subject line. Please have all questions submitted no later than noon on Friday, May 27, 2022. The initial contract will be for one year from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. Each bidder shall accompany their bid with a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid. Such bond shall serve as liquidated damages and be forfeited in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into the contract. The successful Contractor shall furnish both a performance and payment bond, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract as security for the faithful performance of this contract. Clarke County reserves the right to accept, reject and/or cancel all or any part of any Response Form, and to waive minor technicalities.
