As of September 26, 2022, a design engineer has been selected. Bidding is anticipated to take place in December of 2022. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference Proposals are being solicited from qualified engineers, with the expertise needed to design a high efficiency HVAC system for the 23,000 square foot Multi-Service Building located at 224 North Center Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157. Upon design and equipment specification completion, Carroll County will solicit proposals from qualified contractors for the possible removal of the old system and installation of the new system specified by this design. All bidders shall submit their proposals according to the specifications as set forth in this Request for Proposals. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The County also generally reserves the right to issue supplementary information during the proposal preparation period. All proposals become the property of the County and will be kept confidential until after an award of the successful proposal is made. Thereafter, they may become available for public use. All proposals are generally considered to establish contractor offers, not to be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the date set for proposal acceptance. Once submitted, vendors shall not change proposals without prior written consent. Bidders should submit all proposals according to the specifications set forth in this Request for Proposals. Any correction or re-submission done by the firm or authorized representative shall not extend the submittal period. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
