Estimated cost is $25,000 to $30,000. Deadline for Questions, Clarifications May 17, 2022 by 5:00 p.m. The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to: 1. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and services to modify an existing metal fence, install wire mesh, and related work, as shown on Attachment E--Project Plans and Specifications herein. City will remove existing wire mesh fabric prior to commencement of project. Protection of landscaping, shop drawing preparation, painting, cleanup, and welding is included in this Scope of Work (SOW). All work outlined in this RFB shall be guided by the City of Mountain View Standard Provisions and Standard Details, located at: and herein referred to as Standard Provisions, and the 2018 Standard Specifications of the Department of Transportation of the State of California (Caltrans) and subsequent updates to that 2018 edition, and herein referred to as State Standard Specifications. 2. Base Work shall include: o Mobilization; o Shop drawing preparation; o Procurement of materials; o Welding of all metalwork; o Protection of landscaping and park facilities; o Painting of new metal and touch-up of existing metal fence at areas affected by welding; and o Cleanup and disposal of all materials (packaging, scrap metal, paint). $250.00 Per Calendar Day - Liquidated Damages *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
