The City of Pembroke, Georgia is soliciting sealed bid proposals for the removal and disposal of debris from the recent tornado. For consideration, approximately 21,210 cubic yards or 7300 tons of debris is in need of proper removal and disposal by means of burning, chipping and hauling. Conditions of Acceptance: Bids must be from qualified, experienced, licensed and bonded debris removal contractors who meet all federal and state employee verification requirements. The successful bidder shall be required to guarantee all workmanship commencing on the date offinal acceptance by the City of Pembroke. The successful biddershall be required to guarantee all debris will be removed and disposed of according to FEMA and GEMA no later than July 31 , 2022, or contract of accepted agreement will be null and void in full and no partial payment will be due to contractor from the City ofPembroke. If no bids are received within the estimated cost scope, the City of Pembroke reserves the riglit to not award a winning bid and resubmit for new bids. The City of Pembroke reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder if it is considered not to be in the best interest of the City to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the City ofPembroke.
