This lot, with an estimated value of more than $1 million, is part of the completion of phase 2 of the New Hospital Complex (NCH) project on the site of the Hopital de l'Enfant-Jesus, the delivery of which is scheduled for 2024. The budget for phase 2 of the NCH project is estimated at $1.4 billion. This phase will include approximately 100 work and procurement packages Tenders transmitted electronically are permitted and recommended in the context of this call for tenders. Caution: Please note that only the documents required by the Company under the terms of this call for tenders must be submitted with the tender, so as to avoid any situation that would result in the tender being restrictive or conditional. IMPORTANT NOTICES Indexation of the price of certain materials and equipment The tenderer must consider in determining the price submitted for the execution of the contract that the prices of certain materials and equipment may be subject to adjustment during the performance of the contract. The materials and equipment covered are specified in the document entitled List of materials and equipment that may be subject to a price adjustment request . The procedure for adjusting the price of certain materials and equipment is provided for in the Supplemental Instructions and the Supplemental General Conditions . Recommendation for submission of tenders electronically In order to preserve the health of the personnel of its organization, the Company is implementing preventive measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the Company strongly recommends that bidders submit their bid electronically through the electronic bidding system. Authorization to contract/certificate from Revenu Quebec It is strongly suggested that bidders submit as soon as possible, according to the requirements of the contract documents, their request for a certificate from Revenu Quebec and, if applicable, their request for authorization to contract with the Autorite des marches publics, in order to ensure that these requirements are completed before the deadline date and time for receipt of tenders. Non-participation in the call for tenders Any person or company having obtained the contractual documents and who does not submit a bid, undertakes to complete the "Non-participation questionnaire" form included in the contractual documents and to send it to the Company at following email address: infocontrat509@sqi.gouv.qc.ca Subcontractors Submissions All subcontractors subject to the Quebec Bids Office (BSDQ) must, when filing their electronic bid with the BSDQ, indicate the Company as "Recipient" using the "Bidder" menu of the electronic transmission system submissions (TES). WORKS DURATION The work required under this call for tenders must be completely completed within 78 weeks (including statutory holidays, construction holidays and the time required for the supply of materials/equipment) from the date of the authorization to start work. The probable start date of the work is scheduled between August 15, 2022 and September 2, 2022. TERMS Only bids submitted by bidders who meet the following conditions will be considered: 1- have, in Quebec or in a territory covered by an applicable intergovernmental agreement, an establishment where he carries out his activities on a permanent basis, clearly identified in his name and accessible during normal office hours; 2- have the required qualifications and hold the licenses required under the Building Act (CQLR, chapter B-1.1). INFORMATION MEETING / SITE VISIT No information meeting or visit to the work site is planned. TRANSMISSION OF COMPLAINTS The deadline set for receiving complaints filed with the Societe under section 21.0.4 of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (CQLR, chapter C-65.1) is indicated in the Complementary Instructions. INFORMATION Tenderers who wish to receive clarifications concerning the call for tenders must communicate in writing to the e-mail address designated below, taking care to mention the contract number, and this, maximum three working days before the deadline date and time for receipt of tenders. If such a request for clarification is received two working days or less before the deadline date and time for receipt of tenders, the Company reserves the right not to consider it.
