The construction of 0.217 miles of HMA paving of ProSeed Drive being known as County Project No. JSCBS-103-22 in Jasper County Mississippi. The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of the published quantities. The attention of the BIDDER is directed to the State and Federal laws governing selection of and employment of labor. The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that, in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award. This project shall be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction
All hard copy proposals shall be directed to the attention of The Jasper County Board of Supervisors with the outside of the envelope marked "JSCBS-103-22 PROSEED DRIVE PROJECT". Contractor shall indicate certificate of responsibility number on the outside of the envelope. Online bids shall be accepted and opened as instructed on the website. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letter qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid, and such proposals will not be considered in making the award.
