Renovation of a parking garage in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
SUMMARY OF WORK .1 The work of this Project is for the provision of a decorative paneling to be installed on the south facade (Kent Street) of the existing Fitzroy Parkade as indicated and specified. This will include but not limited to: .1 Supply of structural steel frame to provide primary support for multiple individual panels of wood, stainless steel and glazing. .2 Connection of the steel frame and other components to the existing structure. .3 Relocation of any utilities that interferes with the installation of the new panels. .4 Where applicable, testing and commissioning. .5 Landscaping as indicated. .6 Environmental Protection. .7 Traffic controls. .8 All safety measures and devices to protect Parkade users, general public, pedestrians, etc. as required for this type of work and existing site conditions. .9 All related miscellaneous items associated with this project. .2 All in accordance with the requirements of the specifications and drawings listed on the Index of Specifications and Drawings. .3 The work included under this Project is subject to permitting and approval from Authorities Having Jurisdiction including: .1 City of Charlottetown Council Approval; .4 All charges by utility companies relating to the relocation and/or connection to existing services, etc. shall be included in the Tender Price. .5 The Parkade is to remain operational during the execution of the work. Partial closure of areas adjacent to the work shall be coordinated in advance with the owner.
