Demolition and site work for a medical facility in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
A certified check, payable to the COUNTY OF MIFFLIN, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) ofthe bid, shall be submitted with each bid. Work under this Contract is subject to the requirements ofthe Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (1961 August 15, PL 987, P.S. 165) and subsequent amendments. Work under this Contract is subject to the requirements ofthe Public Works Employment Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012).THE COUNTY OF MIFFLIN is an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER and does not discriminate against any applicant for employment, independent contractor, or any other person because ofrace, color, religion, creed, ancestry, national origin, age or sex. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date ofthe opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the COUNTY OF MIFFLIN and the Bidder. The COUNTY OF MIFFLIN reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
