The City of Irving Capital Improvement Program Department invites Architects, Multi-Disciplinary Firms, and other qualified professionals to submit qualification proposals to provide professional services for the Architectural Design and Engineering for the non ADA compliant features, components or aspects of the Criminal Justice Center, including the Courthouse (CJC), and the Jack D. Huffman Building as identified in the included ADA Self Evaluation report. The intent of this work will be to produce a set of documents, including drawings and specifications, as needed, in order to detail the repairs, remediation and/or remodeling as needed to bring the facility into compliance with the ADA Standard, such that the project can successfully be bid by General Contractors. The intent of the drawings and specifications will be to provide a design standard to which the alterations will be made that safeguards the City's facility with regard to quality of materials to be used and the design of the alterations.
