Award: Tyco Construction for $49,875.82 The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire services complying with the enclosed description and/or specifications and conditions for flooring for Newberry MHC. The specifications for the floor replacement at the Newberry Mental Health Clinic is as follows, remove old carpet and old cove base in the hallways and common areas. The common areas include three offices on the back hallway, a conference room, and a office I support staff area up front. Demolition consist of the removal and disposal of the old carpet tiles and cove base. It is the contractor's responsibility to move the furniture that is in the way. The contractor is to moisture test and prepare the floor. The specifications call for the use of four inch cove base in a dark gray color and the use of cove base adhesive. The flooring is to be LVT tile viny! plank, Spacia Wood in Nordic Oak color. The contractor is to move the furniture out of the way and put the furniture back on the new floor when done. Beckman l.T. Department will make the computers safe to move on the Friday the Contractor is to start the job. The quote for labor needs to include the price for excessive furniture moving and weekend and after hours work. The work is to be done between Friday 5:00 p.m. and Monday at 8:30.
