Supply 7,500,000 libs. of dry (DRY Weight) of Liquid Aluminum Sulfate The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a contract for approximately 7,500,000 pounds dry (Dry Weight) of Liquid Aluminum Sulfate. This contract will be for a period of one (1) year, commencing on July 1, 2022. and ending on June 30, 2023, with the option of four (4) additional renewal periods annually, for a total of five (5) years. 1. Deliveries will be on a "Will-Call" basis. 2. Deliveries to the Lake Kilby Water Treatment Plant shall be during the times of Monday ..- Friday, 7:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m. EST., July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, unless special delivery schedules have been approved by the City representative. 3. Deliveries shall be made within two (2) days or less of the receipt of the order. 4. Bidders shall include along with their bid the chemicals National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) or Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) certificates. (Failure of bidder to include this information will result in their bid being considered non-responsive and their bid will be rejected.) 5. Bids shall be submitted on a per wet ton basis. 6. Bidders shall indicate their maximum percentage of increase for years 2 through 5 along with their pricing. 7. Vendor shall be responsible for notifying Richard Hurr, Operations Superintendent at the Lake Kilby Water Plant, at 757-539-2201, ext. 223 should any questions arise in ordering or delays in shipments. 8. Failure to provide ALL certifications, testing and performance documentation required for this solicitation, will result in the bid being considered non-responsive and the bid will be rejected.
