The general description of the Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Contract One - General Construction: This project consists of providing Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) lining of approximately 12,500 LF of existing concrete sanitary sewer pipe ranging in diameter from 27-inches to 33-inches (Piney Fork Interceptor), as well as CIPP lining of approximately 7,000 LF of existing concrete sanitary sewer pipe ranging in diameter from 18-inches to 30-inches (Catfish Run Interceptor). The project also includes Cured in Place lining rehabilitation of approximately 81 manholes of varying depth along the interceptors. The Contractor will be required to provide pre-CCTV and post-CCTV inspections, all necessary cleaning, and all necessary bypass pumping to facilitate the installation of the lining system. Rip rap streambank stabilization at certain manholes will be required as well as locating and raising various manholes. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid which will be returned upon award of the Contracts. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and labor and material bond at contract initiation for the full amount of the contract. Upon accepted completion of the contracts, the successful bidder will be required to provide a two (2) year maintenance bond for the work performed. All materials and equipment provided must meet the requirements of all local, state, and federal regulations. The Bethel Park Municipal Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bids should it consider same to be in its best interest.
