Renovation of a multi-residential development in Toronto, Ontario. Design plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade, 88-unit multi-residential development.
Upgrade to TCHC facilities at 200 to 374 Bay Mills Blvd, for improvement to Building Envelope and Windows. The development was built in 1968 and consists of eighty-eight (88) two-storey townhouse units in the northern part of Scarborough that need to be brought to current building and community standards. the scope of work not only outlines the necessity of foundation and interior basement repairs, but also replacement of doors and windows, new entrance stairs, overcladding, and installing proper exhausts in kitchens. This tender will retain the services of an integrated design team that will seek to modernize the development to meet the current building systems and energy usage requirements. TIMELINE: The owner awarded the Request For Proposal late 2022. The architect provided provide full architectural services for the renewal of the townhouse complex at 200-374 Bay Mills Boulevard. Design was completed in 2023. No schedules for working drawings, tender or construction are determined pending funding. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
