Requests for quotes for bathroom renovations at the Village Information Center, 75 Bridge Street, Shelburne, MA that will remove architectural barriers to handicapped accessibility. Project Scope includes carpentry, plumbing, painting and signage to the two public bathrooms. Carpentry, plumbing, painting and signage (see attached specifications and pictures) to the two public bathrooms on the ground floor of the Village Information Center Relocation of electrical switches and outlets to be provided by the Town of Shelburne. Project to be completed by September 30, 2022. 1. Relocate and reinstall existing wood panel doors. Patch hinge and strike mortises on the inside of the door frames. Refinish frames. 2. Remove urinal and demolish approximately 3' of the north wall of the men's room. Reframe the wall to create a 1'-6"x 3'-0" recess for relocating the urinal. 3. Reconfigure drain, water supply and vent piping for relocation of the urinal. 4. Install and finish gypsum drywall inside and outside of the new urinal. Add fiberglass batt acoustical insulation in the new wall. 5. Extend suspended acoustical ceiling into new alcove. Tile and grid to match existing. 6. Install new quarry tile and base to match existing. Clean existing tile floor and base. 7. Reinstall urinal. 8. Clean existing toilet room ceiling and walls and prep for painting. Repaint to match existing colors. (Men and Women toilet rooms) 9. Patch and paint exterior wall around toilet rooms. 10. Relocate existing electrical receptacle and light switch in area of new alcove. (By Town). 11. Install Braille signage at the building entrance and bathrooms.
