For Auditorium Upgrade / Path of Travel Performance Period: 545 Continuous Calendar Days (See Page CC-3 and Appendix B) Liquidated Damages: Fifteen Hundred ($1,500) Dollars per Continuous Calendar Day SCA system-generated category: $1,000,001 to $4,000,000 Bidders shall submit a LUMP SUM BID AMOUNT in the form attached as Appendix A to the Construction Contract to complete the project within the Performance Period after normal school hours under the conditions specified in the Contract Documents (as defined in the SCAs General Conditions dated July 1, 2021) inclusive of the Phasing Exhibit. A Bid Bond prepared on the form attached to the Construction Contract as Appendix C or a Certified Check of the Bidder for five (5%) percent of the Bid Amount must accompany the Lump Sum Bid Form. (Appendix A). A Wicks subcontractor is defined as a subcontractor performing construction work in the HVAC, Plumbing & Gas Fitting or Electrical Trades and (except for HVAC) licensed to do business in the CITY OF NEW YORK in that trade. Pursuant to the SCAs authorizing legislation, contracts will only be awarded to contractors prequalified by the SCA. If the Bidder is not prequalified at the time of the bid opening its bid will not be accepted.
