Site work for an educational facility in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Saw cut 12-inch interior concrete slab to expose underground piping for repair by others: 1. 3' X 4' opening X 12" structural slab, on grade. 2. Saw perimeters, dice into pieces, remove all pieces and dispose off-site. 3. Core drill all corners to eliminate overcutting. 4. Excavate location to a depth of approximately 4' deep from the top of slab to expose piping. 5. Remove all spoils and dispose off-site. 6. Chelsea Public Schools will provide access, water source. 7. Once new pipe is installed, backfill and compact. 8. Replace re-bar and spacing to match existing. 9. Embedment of new rebar to be 12". 10. Use Hilti Hit-Re 500 epoxy adhesive anchoring system or equivalent. 11. Concrete to be BASF Masteremaco N 400 Polymer modified concrete or equivalent. 12. Roughen concrete at perimeter of slab opening to an amplitude of 1/4 " Chelsea High School Concrete Slab Cutting Project Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
