Site work for a water / sewer project in Abingdon, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of February 12, 2024, per owner, this project was started when VDH was still doing septic designs. Homeowners now select their own OSE if they need a repair. All Pump outs and repair installations were bid out before the project started. The total project is nearing completion. The Holston River Soil and Water Conservation District seeks to procure services for septic services, including tank pumping, tank repairs, tank replacements, and installation of alternative systems, to homeowners of property located in Washington County. The HRSWCD is issuing the Request for Proposals (RFP) as a vehicle for soliciting and evaluating proposals from interested companies with the goal of contracting with one certified Proposer. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
