CITY OF OREGON CITY TRILLIUM PARK DRIVE, PHASE 2 ROADWAY ABANDONMENT The project generally includes 1. Demolition and haul-off of existing asphalt concrete surface, concrete side#walks and curbs, and asphalt concrete pedestrian path 2. Removal of existing roadway aggregate base rock material 3. Reusing the existing aggregate base rock material to construct the emer#gency vehicle/pedestrian accessway 4. Clear and Grub for landscaping improvements including removal of four (4) trees 5. Install new landscaping planting and seeding including five (5) trees 6. Demolition and haul-off of existing storm sewer system piping and catch basins 7. Construct new storm sewer system piping, catch basins, manhole, and grass swales 8. PGE area lighting 9. Demolition of existing concrete foundation stem walls 10. Construct paved emergency vehicle turnaround 11. Reconstruct Trillium Park Drive/Canyon Court intersection with eyebrow street improvements 12. Construct sidewalks 13. Construct ADA sidewalk ramps Solicitation documents may be obtained from the City's online plan center free of charge. Solicitation documents may be obtained by creating a new user account and registering for the project. General information including the planholder list is available to the public without registering. Solicitation documents are also available for review at the Oregon City Engineering and Operations Center, 13895 Fir Street, second floor, Oregon City, Oregon, 97045 (Telephone: 971-204-4601), between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. Addenda, clarifications, and notices will be distributed through the City's online planholder system. Potential bidders are responsible for ensuring contact information is registered correctly and that email updates are being received and not being sent to spam folders. It is in the best interest of potential bidders to check the website periodically to ensure all updates are received. The City is not responsible for failure of bidders to receive notifications of changes or corrections made by the City and posted as stated above. No bid will be received or considered unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder, as part of their bid, that the provisions of ORS 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 276a shall be complied with, a statement as to resident bidder status, and whether the bidder is licensed under ORS 468A.720 (no asbestos removal is contemplated for this project). Prior to submission of its bid, the bidder shall be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board, and thereafter comply with the requirements of ORS 701.005 to 701.137. Evidence of workers compensation insurance will be required before the work shall commence. The City will investigate and determine the qualifications of the apparent low bidder prior to awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject all bids, if it is in the public interest to do so. , liquidated damages in the amount of $250.00 per calendar day
