This Request for Quote is issued by James City Service Authority (JCSA) for the abandonment of 7 wells consisting of 5 production wells and 2 observation wells. The purpose of the work is to remove the existing assembly (pump, motor, drop pipe, motor wires, and related appurtenances), from the 5 production wells in order to facilitate abandonment. The 2 observation wells will not require the removal of any pump/motor assemblies. All work shall be completed within 30 days of the start date indicated in the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, equipment, supervision, and labor for the well abandonment in accordance with these specifications and the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). The Pre-bid Conference includes visit of the 4 JCSA sites. All Conference attendees shall provide certification of employment on the company's official letterhead. This certification shall be emailed to Bruce Capps at bruce.capps@jamescitycountyva.gov no later than 2:00 pm on Monday, May 30, 2022. Any potential attendee not supplying the above certification will not be allowed to attend the Site Visit to the JCSA location. In addition, all attendees must show an up to date picture identification to attend the site visit. Bruce Capps will be sole judge of whether a person is cleared to attend the Site Visit.
