BACKGROUND The City of Richmond desires to contract with a qualified firm for the purpose of furnishing and delivering Crushed Stone Aggregate Base Course to the Department of Public Utilities (DPU). 2. STATEMENT OF WORK To provide the City of Richmond, Department of Public Utilities (DPU), with different types of Crushed Stone Aggregate Base Course in accordance to the Virginia Department of Highways specification book, Section 203, Tables II-3, II-4, II-5, and II-6 (latest version). 3. CITY REQUIREMENTS A. All Crushed Stone Aggregate Base Course grades will be in accordance to the Virginia Department of Highways specification book, Section 203, Tables II-3, II4, II-5, and II-6 (latest version). B. All Course Aggregate Stone shall be clean and washed. C. A list of Plant locations noting the type of stone that is available at each plant and the name and telephone number of the person to contact at each location. D. The City of Richmond will take normal delivery at 1400 Brander Street between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding City Holidays). E. Minimum order for delivery FOB any location will be 20 tons.
