I. PURPOSE: The Chesapeake Public Library Department (CPL) is soliciting quotes from qualified bidders for privacy booths. The privacy booths will be installed at two (2) of CPL's facilities - South Norfolk Library and Indian River Library. The booths will be configured to allow customers use the booth for telehealth appointments. It will allow privacy and provide comfortable space for customers. II. SPECIFICATIONS: A. The booth may not be any bigger than 8' X 8' X 10' (LWH) due to space constraints at South Norfolk and Indian River Libraries. B. It must be soundproof. It may include a white noise device to increase privacy if necessary. It may include its own ceiling - tiles or solid. C. The booth must comply with the Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code and local ordinances. D. There must be vents to allow good airflow and include any cooling/heating to maintain a comfortable temperature in the space. E. It must be ADA compliant, so it must include a ramp, if necessary. F. The unit must have a privacy window or ability to have a way to create privacy for the booth. G. The space must be able to accommodate a wheelchair along with a second (2nd) person to assist, if necessary. It must be able to accommodate at least two (2) people. H. There must be lighting in the unit and if available, a UV lighting system or sanitizing solution to clean the space for airborne pollutants and/or bacteria/virus. I. Any seating included must be easily adjusted and/or removed for easy maneuverability. J. The booth should have a standard lockable door handle, capable of being retrofitted with a Wi-Fi enabled door lock. K. Network/Data: Ethernet (wired) or wireless (Wi-Fi or Cellular) L. Power: 110V M.
